Flange-Mounted Tension and Compression Force Sensor 0-20kN
The LCF06 is a compact flange type force sensor designed for accurate measurement of axial forces in both tension and compression. It is installed directly between two mechanical assemblies and features integrated mounting flanges on both ends, allowing convenient flange-to-flange installation without requiring additional mounting adapters. This configuration provides a rigid and stable mechanical connection while keeping the overall sensor structure compact. The LCF06 is available in rated capacities from 100 N to 20 kN, making it suitable for a wide range of force measurement requirements.

Constructed with a stainless steel cylindrical body, the sensor is designed for reliable operation in demanding industrial environments. Its high-resistance 500 Ω or 1000 Ω strain gauge bridge helps reduce heat generation and supports stable signal output during continuous operation. With non-linearity of 0.1% FS, the LCF06 force measurement sensor provides accurate and repeatable bidirectional force measurement. As a flange mounted load cell, it is particularly suitable for equipment where limited installation space, secure mechanical mounting, and consistent measurement performance are important.
The LCF06 functions as a tension and compression load cell, allowing the same sensor to measure forces applied in both directions. Its robust construction supports repeated measurements and selected dynamic loading conditions, making it suitable for applications where force direction changes during operation. The standardized mounting dimensions across different capacity versions also simplify equipment design and make it easier to select a suitable capacity without significantly changing the mechanical installation arrangement.
For actuator and motion-control applications, the LCF06 can be used as a thrust load cell to measure the axial output force of pneumatic cylinders, hydraulic cylinders, and electromechanical actuators. It is also suitable for press force monitoring, where accurate measurement of applied compression force is required during forming, assembly, or controlled pressing operations. These capabilities make the sensor useful for applications involving force verification, overload monitoring, and closed-loop force control.
The sensor is also well suited to robotics, including force monitoring at linear actuators and end-effectors; material testing, where tensile and compressive loads need to be measured during repeated test cycles; insertion and extraction testing, for evaluating assembly and removal forces; and automated equipment, where real-time force feedback can help improve process consistency. Other applications include press machines and industrial process control systems that require reliable measurement of axial force.

To meet specific equipment integration requirements, the LCF06 force cell can be customized in mechanical dimensions, rated capacity, cable configuration, and electrical specifications. It can also be adapted for applications requiring a dedicated thrust force sensor, allowing the sensor to be incorporated into specialized actuator testing systems, automated force-control equipment, and OEM machinery. This flexibility makes the LCF06 suitable for both standard force measurement systems and application-specific industrial solutions.
